SVG Maker AI is an AI SVG generator and online SVG editor. Describe a graphic in plain language, or upload a PNG, JPG or WebP to have it redrawn, and it builds a real SVG file of vector paths that you can edit in the browser and export as an .svg, a PNG or a React component.

Sign up for a free account, open the dashboard, and type a description such as “faceted fox head, flat vector”, or upload a picture to have it redrawn. The AI SVG generator draws the shapes and saves the file to your workspace. Open it in the editor to adjust colours, strokes and shapes, then download the .svg.

SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) is an XML text format that describes an image as shapes and curves rather than pixels. It stays sharp at any size, is usually far smaller than a PNG for icons and logos, and can be styled with CSS or edited in any text editor — which is why an SVG maker that writes clean markup matters.

A tracer follows the pixel edges of your image, noise included. SVG Maker AI does not trace: a vision model describes your image and a new SVG is drawn from that description, so you get clean shapes but an interpretation rather than an exact copy. When the outlines must match the original exactly, use a tracer or redraw by hand.

Reasonably. Every generated file is run through SVGO: editor namespaces and metadata are stripped, numbers are rounded to two decimals, and a viewBox is guaranteed. That same pass also merges paths and shortens or removes ids, so do not expect named layers — give parts ids in the editor's code panel if you need them.

Any gradient in the markup, generated or pasted in, is kept and exported as it is. Generation does not animate anything, but you can type CSS keyframes or SMIL into the editor's code panel and the exported SVG keeps them, so it plays wherever it is embedded.

Yes, as a redraw. Upload a flat mockup, logo or sketch in the dashboard (a free account is needed) and a new SVG is generated from a description of it. The result is scalable and editable, but it is an interpretation of your image, not a trace of its outlines.

Download the .svg and drag it in, or copy the inline markup and paste straight onto a Figma canvas — it arrives as editable layered vector nodes, not a flat image.

Yes. Generate the design, then check that cut paths are closed and overlapping shapes are welded before you upload it to Design Space or your laser software. The Cricut and laser-cutting guides on this site walk through what each machine needs from the file.

Yes, on the Business plan. REST endpoints generate an SVG from text or from an uploaded image, and list, fetch and delete the designs in your workspace, authenticated with your account token. There is no batch endpoint yet, so send one request per prompt.

You do, on every plan. Every SVG you generate is yours to use in client work, logos, templates and merchandise, with no royalties and no attribution. The licence page has the full terms.
